Pressure Washing & Deep Cleaning
Before anything else, we pressure wash every surface to be painted. Over the years, siding and trim accumulate dirt, mildew, chalking paint, and biological growth — all of which will cause new paint to fail prematurely if not fully removed. We use professional-grade equipment calibrated to the surface material, and allow adequate drying time before any further work begins.

Surface Preparation & Repair
This is where most painting jobs succeed or fail — and where we invest the most time. Once surfaces are clean and dry, we scrape all remaining loose or peeling paint, hand-sand rough edges to a smooth feathered transition, and inspect every inch of siding, trim, and fascia for damage. Cracks, gaps, and failed caulk joints are re-caulked with high-quality exterior-grade sealant.

Priming for Long-Term Adhesion
Priming isn't optional — it's the foundation of a paint job that survives PNW winters. Absolutely. Before any painting begins, we carefully mask and cover all windows, doors, light fixtures, plants, outdoor furniture, and any surface we're not painting. After the job is done, we do a full walkthrough and clean up completely before we leave.
